BELLEVUE, Wash., March 15, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) -- Unity Wireless Corporation (a dba of Sonic Systems Corporation) of Delaware (NQB:ZSON) is pleased to announce a master distribution agreement with Peek Traffic Systems, Inc. of Tallahassee, Florida. The Agreement allows Peek to sell Unity's MPIC (Multi-Purpose Interface Controller) wireless communication card exclusively in NEMA-type traffic equipment, which is one of North America's two main traffic control architectures. The agreement covers the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Peek Traffic Systems is one of the United States' market leaders in the design, development, manufacture, marketing and after-sale support of both hardware and software traffic control systems. Peek's products include NEMA TS1/TS2 traffic controllers, technology leading video vehicle tracking and detection systems, traffic signals, closed loop and adaptive traffic control systems, and traffic cabinets.
Peek Traffic Systems holds an approximate 40% market share in NEMA traffic controllers equal to approximately 25% of the total North American traffic controller market, and has over 70 years of traffic industry presence. Peek also has operations in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Sweden and Norway.

"With the addition of Peek Traffic Systems to our distribution channel, we now have distribution through two of the largest suppliers of traffic control equipment in North America which represent about 50% - 60% of the total US market," said Dodd.
