Information Highway acquires NetGain AB

Founded in 1995, NetGain has about ten employees and is now in a burgeoning expansion phase. The centre of gravity of its competencies lies on the technology side of sophisticated e-business systems; its cutting-edge skills are within the IBM/Lotus Domino platform.

NetGain's business concept is to offer expert services and products primarily targeted on the Internet/intranets. For Information Highway, President Göran Wågström commented that "NetGain is a very highly skilled enterprise harbouring cutting-edge skills in what for us and our customers is a key platform. NetGain brings valuable clients and consolidates our presence in Karlstad and western Sweden."

Responding, Mr. Hellberg said, "we can bring competencies in Internet/intranet solutions built on the Lotus Domino platform. The buy-out also consolidates Information Highway's positioning in the Karlstad region."

NetGain's undertakings encompass feasibility studies, implementation and operations. To meet client needs, NetGain works through established standards as well as new, innovative solutions. All NetGain's development is project form, on assignment from clients.
