Kemira Oyj and Scott Technologies, Inc. have today finalized the agreement on the sale of Kemira Safety Oy to Scott at the price of USD 17.15 million.
Kemira Safety, based in Vaasa, Finland, is a leading European manufacturer of respiratory safety equipment, including powered air purifying respirators, full- and half-mask respirators, and cartridge filters.
Scott Technologies, Inc. is a leading designer and manufacturer of sophisticated, high-performance respiratory protection systems, gas detection instruments and other life saving products for firefighting, industrial markets, aviation and government markets. Scott Technology is traded on the NASDAQ stock exchange under the symbol SCTT.
