At the FLS Industries A/S Annual General Meeting on 2 May, Ib Christensen, who retired as Group Executive Vice President at the end of March, was elected to the Board of Directors. At the subsequent initial Board meeting, Ib Christensen was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors. Ib Christensen succeeds Jens Münter who will continue to serve on the Board. Ib Christensen will be responsible for the process of appointing a new Chief Executive of the Group. Until this is accomplished, the new Chairman will work closely with the day-to-day management of the Group, as it is important to ensure continuity in view of the major tasks to be undertaken also in the nearest future.
