Kent, Ohio, June 5, 2000, (PRIMEZONE) -- (OTCBB:FNLN) Fineline Properties.com, Inc. (www.finelineproperties.com) has teamed up with the United States Basketball League.
A deal has been finalized between Fineline Properties.com, Inc and the United States Basketball League (USBL) for licensing of Fineline's basketball cartoon character group the Hoopsters. The USBL plans to utilize the Hoopsters to promote the USBL, the game of basketball, and to promote drug awareness to inner-city children.
The USBL represents over 16 major markets in major U.S. cities. Apparel items and other children-related products branded with the Hoopsters will be marketed at each game. There are further plans for Fineline and USBL to utilize the Hoopsters to promote a federal government financed drug awareness program for inner city youths.
Larry Arnold, a lobbyist in DC for over 25 years, who has an association with both the USBL and Fineline, will present this program to the government. Robert Petry, President of Fineline, states, "We are very happy to be associated with the USBL. This contract is special because it is beneficial to our company, society and our youth."
