Adcore to sponsor Öresund Link opening on 1 July -Adcore-building bridges to the Digital Economy


Adcore has a presence in nine countries with 1,400 professionals. Several hundred live and work in the high-growth Öresund region, where Adcore is present in Copenhagen, Malmö, Helsingborg and Århus.

I view the Öresund Link as a symbol of the growth and get-up-and-go in the region, so our participation in the 1 July inauguration was a foregone conclusion," said Göran Wågström, Adcore's CEO and President.

Adcore is the result of the first merger between two strategic Internet consulting practices, Connecta and Information Highway.

Mr. Wågström continued: "Both players had been successful and generated earnings for a number of years independently. The merger implies our strengths growing, simultaneous with us focusing our resources on being a global leader in the development of new digital business-to-business solutions. Simply, we help our clients transform their business processes for the digital economy."

At present, Adcore has some 250 professionals in those operations present for a number of years in Malmö and Copenhagen, the acquired Danish enterprises Elk, Albatross and Implement, plus Sweden's Pyramid and Jevinger Interactive. Clients in the Öresund region include Codan, Oticon, Falck, Scandlines, Den Danske Bank, PFA Pension, Egmont Online A/S, Day2Day.dk, Bestseller, Danfoss, Dansk Industri, Örestadsselskabet, Sparbanken Finn and Gripen, AstraZeneca, Gambro, AGA, ABB Satl AB, Tetra Pak, Ericsson, Perstorp, Frigoscandia Equipment and Höganäs AB.
