Nokia ja M1 aloittavat tässä kuussa kolmannen sukupolven WCDMA-teknologian testauksen Singaporessa.
Yhtiöt testaavat Nokian 3G WCDMA-teknologiaa ja IP-pohjaisia matkapuhelinpalveluja ja sovelluksia aidossa toimintaympäristössä. Testeillä M1 valmistautuu seuraavan sukupolven langattomien Internet-palvelujen tuomiseen Singaporen markkinoille.
M1 on Singaporen johtavia operaattoreita ja operoi sekä GSM- että CDMA-verkkoa. Nokia ja M1 ovat jo testanneet GPRS-puheluita sekä GPRS-verkkovierailua M1:n ja toisten aasialaisten operaattoreiden välillä.
