This is the third Grand Slam doubles title for the Williams' sisters, adding to their victories at the French Open and U.S. Open in 1999.
Mark Woodforde and Todd Woodbridge, both playing with the Wilson Hyper Pro Staff 5.0, extended their greatest winning doubles record in the history of the game. The Aussie duo took the Gentlemen's Doubles Wimbledon title for the sixth time and now have 11 Grand Slam titles and 60 crowns overall.
