On Command Signs with Hotel Digital Network

Agreement Will Deliver Music on Demand to Hotel Guests

DENVER, August 24, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) -- On Command Corporation (Nasdaq:ONCO) today announced the signing of an agreement with Hotel Digital Network, following On Command's highly successful market trials that tested delivery of music on demand to hotel guests.

"On Command is developing a remarkable array of programming services for hoteliers and their guests," said Nancy Gallion, On Command Senior Vice President, Programming and Marketing. "On Command is designing the richest, most sophisticated guest experience with advanced content available only through our entertainment platform. And, music on demand has emerged as one of the most important features to be included in our new easy-to-use interface."

Hotel Digital Network has designed digital network technology that is fully compatible with hotel video-on-demand systems. "Using our system, guests at On Command's hotel partners can choose from an extensive variety of music options: CD music on demand, singles on demand "jukebox," and diverse interactive channels of continuously streaming CD-quality music. Now, hotel guests will have access to unprecedented options and control of their in-room music experience," said Mark DiLorenzo, Hotel Digital Network President. "We are excited to add On Command to our exclusive roster of hotel partners that serve the hospitality industry."
