Nokia Networksin Professional Services -yksikön johtoon on 1.11.2000 lähtien nimitetty DI Matti Makkonen. Hän tulee Nokiaan Sonerasta, jossa hän on toiminut matkaviestinnän eri tehtävissä, viimeksi Mobile Internet Operator Services -yksikön johtajana.
Professional Services -yksikkö myy verkkoasiakkaille erilaisia palveluja ja ratkaisuja, kuten verkon suunnittelu-, rakennus- ja ylläpitopalveluita sekä verkonhallintajärjestelmiä.
