The following appointments are announced by Kemira Agro Specialties:
Olavi Määttä is appointed Vice President, BU Food Chain Partner, with effect from 15 June 2000. This BU will focus on developing and producing total service packages for agriculture, especially for crop production, in the Nordic and Baltic countries as well as in Central Eastern Europe.
From 15 June 2000, Hannu Virolainen is appointed Vice President, BU Specialty Crop Care. This business unit will focus on supplying special crop cultivators with plant nutrients and related services in global market areas.
Michael Christensson is appointed Vice President, BU Animal Nutrition, from 1 January 2001. This BU produces inorganic feed phosphates for the feed industry.
From 1 January 2001, Heikki Liukas is appointed Director, Finance and Treasury.
Tuomo Orpana is appointed Director, Information Technology, from 15 June 2000.
Ilkka Kruus is appointed Vice President, Innovations, from 15 June 2000.
Timo Lainto is appointed Vice President, Operations and Intermediates, from 15 June 2000.
From 1 January 2001, Kimmo Lähteenmäki is appointed Director, Human Resources.
From 1 January 2001, Matti Kaija is appointed Director and Mika Perälä Production Manager of the Uusikaupunki Plant. Aaro Koskenrouta is appointed Project Manager for the development of logistics in the Baltic countries and Poland from 1 January 2001.
Kari Laukkanen is appointed Director and Anne Kokko Production Manager of the Harjavalta Plant from 1 January 2001.
