NAPERVILLE, Ill., Nov. 22, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) -- John P. Calamos, President and Chief Investment Officer of CALAMOS ASSET MANAGEMENT, INC., has announced the appointment of Michelle Clairmont as Vice President and Regional Director, West Coast.
Ms. Clairmont is responsible for working with financial advisors and consultants on the West Coast and their clients to represent CALAMOS' separately managed accounts and mutual funds. She has a B.S. in business from Pepperdine University and was previously employed as a financial consultant and marketing representative in the investment industry. Ms. Clairmont holds Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses.
