SEBASTOPOL, Calif., Dec. 4, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) -- ZAPWORLD.COM (Nasdaq:ZAPP) reported sales rose 152 percent in the month of November from a year ago, boosted by strong demand for its ZAPPY(r) scooter and other new ZAP(r) products.
Total sales for the month ending November 30, 2000, climbed 152 percent to $1.65 million from $654,000 thousand a year earlier.
"November achieved positive sales gains, and we are building momentum with increased demand for our products. We will also be supporting two Sonoma county retail stores for the month of December to help handle the holiday sales locally," said Gary Starr, CEO.
