Roxen Internet Software Appoints Claes Rickeby to the Board


SWEDEN, Jan. 25, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Claes Rickeby, General Manager of Cisco Photonics, formerly Qeyton Systems, has been nominated to the Board of Directors of Roxen Internet Software, the Web Content Management software company. The appointment is expected to be confirmed by the next general meeting this spring.

Stockholm, 2001 01 25. Claes Rickeby has been nominated to the board of directors of Roxen Internet Software (Roxen IS) by the board, and will participate in the meetings, starting immediately. It is expected that the nomination will be confirmed by the next general meeting.

Claes Rickeby is a 25-year Ericsson veteran with a solid track record in engineering and management, and is currently working for Cisco as the General Manager of Cisco Photonics, formerly known as Qeyton Systems.

"I view Web Content Management software as a higher level layer of Internet infrastructure, and I am eager to put my decades of experience from Telecom infrastructure to work for Roxen IS. The Web is rapidly leaving the experimental stage, and well-architected infrastructure is what enterprises ask for", said Claes Rickeby.

Claes Rickeby has during his 25 years at Ericsson worked as expert advisor to the top management, managed Intellectual Property Rights activities and worked with Mergers & Acquisitions as well as strategy and marketing issues. Early in his career, he held management positions in customer oriented technology development. Claes Rickeby holds an MSc from The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden, and has a solid background in Telecom and Internet technology.
