COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Feb. 2, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Yesterday, TDC Directories signed an agreement to acquire 100% of ForetagsFakta in Sweden for SEK 83.8m (DKK 71m) and with an earn-out option to a maximum payment of SEK 140m.
ForetagsFakta publishes directories to the Business-to-Business (B2B) segment. The acquisition increases TDC Directories' presence in the Swedish B2B directory market from an estimated market share of 23% to 48%, making TDC Directories the market leader in the B2B Directory segment. Furthermore, TDC's B2B Internet activities will be strengthened and TDC will be able to penetrate the B2B Internet market faster.
ForetagsFakta's preliminary 2000 financial statement shows revenues of SEK 81.5m and EBITDA of SEK 4.5m.
