Amer Group Plc commenced a buy back of its own shares on 10 November 2000, and the total number of shares acquired by the Company amounts to 773,000 the end of February 2001.
On 7 February 2001, the Company's Board of Directors decided to propose to the Annual General Meeting to be held on 7 March 2001 that 633,000 of the shares owned by the Company would be cancelled. The Board also decided to propose a new authorisation to purchase own shares.
