AUGSBURG, Germany, April 8, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- BOEWE SYSTEC AG (GER:BSY) (WKN 523 970), Augsburg, the European market leader for high-performance inserting systems and associated services, continues to record a positive development within the group of companies.
Based on a very positive development in the proceedings of the business year 2000, the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board of BOEWE SYSTEC AG proposed a further increase in dividends. The distribution per share should increase from DM 1.75 (EUR 0.89) in 1999 to EUR 1.00 for the accounting year 2000. Thus including tax credit, the gross dividend has increased from DM 2.50 (EUR 1.28) to around DM 2.79 (EUR 1.43). It is the sixth consecutive increase in dividends.
On the basis of BOEWE SYSTEC AG`s current share price of EUR 22, this means a gross dividend yield of over 6%.
