Amer Group Plc: Lazard's holding in Company

Pursuant the Finnish Securities Market Act (Section 2:9), Amer Group Plc has been notified that Lazard Frères & Co. LCC, doing business as Lazard Asset Management, and its subsidiaries together now own 1,200,700 Amer Group Plc's shares, representing 4.859% of the company's share capital and voting rights. Lazard's holding in Amer fell below 5% on 10 April 2001.
