Incap Corporation's Board discussed on 18 May the consequences of the fire at the Kärsämäki production facility. The Board has understood that there is a notable local interest to continue furniture business. For this reason the Board is primarily exploring the possibilities to continue furniture business based on local ownership. The strategic decision to separate the furniture sector from Incap Group made a year ago is still valid.
Estimation of the extent of damage due to the fire will continue.
