NETHERLANDS, May 17, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- NedGraphics Holding N.V. (NedGraphics) has, as part of the consortium comprising Fair Information Services, Eigner + Partner and EDS, been awarded the tender to replace and expand the applications used by the Bouwdienst Rijkswaterstaat for drawing and designing infrastructural projects. The total order is worth EUR 2 million, of which EUR 750,000 is for NedGraphics. The project is to be undertaken over a period of four years.
The Bouwdienst Rijkswaterstaat, the engineering office of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, is responsible for the realization of infrastructural works such as bridges and viaducts. The consortium has the job of replacing and expanding the existing systems used by the Bouwdienst Rijkswaterstaat in the drawing and designing of such infrastructural projects. For this NedGraphics will supply the 2D CAD application named AutoCAD Map 2000i. NedGraphics will also take care of implementation as well as the training and supervision of the Bouwdienst Rijkswaterstaat personnel. In addition, NedGraphics will provide consultancy services for the project.
