MCLEAN, Va., May 23, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- The United States Postal Service has named PRC Inc., a Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) company, the recipient of its 2001 Quality Supplier Award in the large business professional and consultant services category.
The award is presented annually to suppliers that demonstrate a clear commitment to quality, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Only nine companies received the award this year out of more than 2,100 eligible suppliers representing more than 55,000 contract actions. PRC was the sole winner in its category.
"This award is a direct result of more than 23 years of sustained commitment to quality on the part of our team members," said Harry Koerber, vice president of Postal Information Systems for PRC. "We feel it also highlights the important role our postal customers have played in our success. This reflects the true partnership between our organizations."
More than 700 PRC employees provide the postal service with a wide variety of information technology services, innovative business solutions and mail processing equipment maintenance support.
