LAS VEGAS, May 23, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- PurchasePro(r) (Nasdaq:PPRO) said today that because it had not yet filed its quarterly report on form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31, 2001 with the Securities and Exchange Commission, its equities will begin trading on the Nasdaq National Market under the symbol PPROE on May 24, 2001.
PurchasePro does not expect to file its Form 10-Q until the company and its auditors have completed their review of the financial results for the quarter. The company expects that this review will result in further adjustment of the financial results for the quarter as reported by the company earlier this week.
