STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 30, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- MARA Systems, the Swedish Network Security Company, has installed the first version of its eMARA security server at Adcore (SSE:ADCO) to manage security, access rights and performance on the IT consultant's Intranet.
Stockholm, 29 05 2001. MARA Systems, the Swedish Network Security Company focused on delivering custom functionality based on its own products, today announced the first installation of its new Network Security Server eMARA, installed at Adcore.
"We chose MARA Systems based on their willingness and ability to customize the product to our security specifications. We are very pleased with the close cooperation with their engineering organization, and see potential applications for eMARA at our client's sites as well," said Stefan Viklund, MD Adcore Uptime.
eMARA was installed at Adcore to provide for single sign on to Web-oriented applications, SSL acceleration, to speed up certificates management and load balancing with level 7 functionality, enabling smart balancing of the load between the servers on Adcore's Intranet. The same functions can easily be applied to other Adcore applications, including external Web serving.
"The purpose of eMARA is to combine single sign on, SSL certificates and the management of a complex distributed back end, including load balancing. Our business with Adcore proves that an integrated network security product and locally available engineers to customize, is a winning combination for discriminating security customers," said Flavio Pescuma, CEO MARA Systems.
eMARA is available as a packaged product, with optional customization of the product available from the design team.
