Opticom ASA Annual General Meeting was held at Felix Konferansesenter, Aker Brygge, Oslo, on 26 June 2001. The meeting was opened and chaired by the Chairman, Thomas Fussell.
All resolutions except item 6 were passed in accordance with the notice of the meeting. One shareholder proposed that item 6 be amended. Accordingly, the Board altered item 6 so that the authority to the Board to issue shares was limited to 10% of the registered share capital. The board's amended proposal was resolved.
After the General Meeting, the technology was presented by Research Director Hans Gude Gudesen. Managing Director of the subsidiary Thin Film Electronics, Rolf Åberg, presented the new laboratory facilities in Linköping, Sweden. Chairman Thomas Fussell announced that Intel increases its equity investment in Thin Film Electronics ASA, and expands license field of use for TFE Technology.
