Northrop Grumman Sector Names Mark Tucker Vice President For Program Operations


DALLAS, July 5, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NYSE:NOC) Integrated Systems Sector (ISS) today announced the appointment of Mark Tucker to sector vice president-Program Operations. He is responsible for program management, engineering, integrated logistics support, manufacturing and quality oversight throughout the sector.

Mr. Tucker joined Northrop Grumman in 1983 as a manufacturing engineering associate at the B-2 Division, where he held several management positions, most notably as manager of the company's Pico Rivera, Calif., operations. In 1994, he joined Northrop Grumman's Commercial Aircraft Division where he held several key management positions at the Aircraft Door Center in Perry, Ga., and at the 747 fuselage operations in Hawthorne, Calif. Most recently, he was vice president of Boeing Commercial Programs for Vought Aircraft Industries.

Mr. Tucker attended San Jose State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical operations. He also received a Master of Business Administration degree from California State University, Long Beach.
