Zaandam, The Netherlands, September 3, 2001 - Mr. Cor Boonstra has informed the Ahold Supervisory Board and Corporate Executive Board that he has resigned as a Member of the Supervisory Board, effective immediately.
The Boards have accepted his resignation.
