STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sept. 5, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Roxen Internet Software AB (SSE:ROX) (Roxen IS) today announced the new version 2.2 of Roxen Platform, the company's high end Web Content Management (WCM) package. Improvements are geared towards the needs of Enterprise clients.

Roxen Platform 2.2 includes revamped access control, a new search engine, improved graphics support, a new user interface for Roxen SiteBuilder and a significantly improved replication system, which all strengthens the Enterprise characteristics of Roxen Platform.
"Version 2.2 is intended to improve scalability and functionality for our enterprise clients, while enhancing the support for dynamic and personalized web sites," said Henning Strandin, Product Manager.
"With the new replication system, customers can more easily build web sites capable of handling any number of visitors. The Roxen AccessControl enables personalization and fine-grained security rules for massive numbers of site users. GXML is a new toolkit for building high-level dynamic graphics functionality, enabling new types of web services as well as lowering site maintenance costs. The overall performance of the product has also been improved significantly."
Roxen Platform is the enterprise product of the two content management packages offered by Roxen IS, with customizable functionality for large and complex web sites. It is typically delivered in cooperation with a value adding integration partner. Roxen IntraWise is the entry-level product, with high out-of-the-box functionality for quick deployment with minimal development efforts.
Roxen Platform 2.2 is available for Solaris, Linux, Windows NT/2000, and AIX.
