As part of its strategic refocusing on corrective lenses, Essilor has decided to sell its 44% interest in Groupe Logo, a frame manufacturer and retailer, to Groupe Darnaud and Logo management. This interest is accounted for by the equity method in Essilor's financial statements.
As 2001 comes to a close, Essilor confirms that business is firm in all of its markets.
