(OTCBB:DDSI) a leading designer and marketer of digitized imaging systems and biometric identification solutions for the criminal justice and security markets, today announced a new and expanded agreement with privately held AuthenTec, Inc. to sell its Fingerprint Matching System (FMS) to commercial markets. DDSI had previously only held the rights to sell FMS to the criminal justice markets.
DDSI Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Garrett U. Cohn commented: "We are very pleased to have a new agreement in place for FMS and will now expand our sales efforts to access control, identification verification as well as large, multi-jurisdictional fingerprint matching programs. FMS was originally developed to handle larger projects for government agencies. Having these new rights will enable DDSI to now aggressively begin selling our products outside of the criminal justice market and expand our sales channel."
DDSI is currently in talks with various corporations regarding new sales agreements and contracts to expand its sales pipeline. The company will issue announcements to its investors as these contracts develop.
