The Jaakko Pöyry Group's investment bank retained as advisor in two corporate restructurings


JP Capital International Ltd., which is a part of the Jaakko Pöyry Group's Forest Industry Consulting business group, has provided advisory services for two recently publicised corporate restructurings.

On January 23, 2002 Metsä-Botnia announced a restructuring in which its Kemiart Liners unit will be spun off into a separate company owned by M-real, UPM-Kymmene and Metsäliitto. JP Capital served as Metsä-Botnia's advisor.

On January 28, 2002 Jaakko Pöyry Group Oyj announced that Jaakko Pöyry Consulting has sold its JP Development Oy business unit to Helsinki Consulting Group Oy. In this divestment, JP Capital served as the Jaakko Pöyry Group's advisor.
