In tests of all top golf balls on the market in the U.S. and Japan, a putting robot hit 24,192 putts to determine the effect of unbalanced balls on a ten-foot putt on a flat surface. "When we began this project we were amazed how many balls from top manufacturers, including our own, were unbalanced. Most shocking was that even ten-foot putts from a putting robot would miss the hole completely as the ball veered to the heavy side," said Luke Reese, Vice President & General Manager, Wilson Golf Worldwide.
The Wilson Staff True will be available in two models. Both the Wilson Staff True Tour and the Wilson Staff True Distance will be available at golf and pro shops on March 1.
