ESPOO, Finland, Feb. 4, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- The share subscription period with the warrants attached to the 1996 Bonds with Warrants has ended on January 31, 2002. After the previous increase in the share capital registered on January 3, 2002 altogether 50,908 warrants had been exercised to subscribe for 305,448 TietoEnator shares.
The increase in the share capital, in total 305,448 E was registered in the Finnish Trade Register on February 4, 2002. As a result of the increase, the share capital of TietoEnator is now 83,757,348 E and the total number of shares is 83,757,348. TietoEnator received as additional shareholders' equity in total 1,395,897.36 E.
The holders of the new shares are entitled to all other shareholders' rights except to distribution of dividend from accounting period 2001 from the registration date. The new shares will be listed at the Helsinki Exchanges together with the old shares on or about the third banking date after the dividend record date. If the annual general meeting does not decide to pay dividend shares will be listed on or about the third banking day after the annual general meeting.
