Framfab Lands Philippine Airlines

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 13, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Framfab:

Philippine Airlines went through a global partner selection process before choosing Framfab. Both parties aim to build a long-term partnership.

Last fall Philippine Airlines met with several potential candidates in both the United States and Europe as well as locally in The Philippines in their search for a partner to assist them in preparing their business for the increasing challenges of the Internet.

"We have only just started our cooperation, and already it is clear to us that Philippine Airlines is highly committed and determined to develop its online business," says Project Manager Frank Skou Pedersen, Framfab Denmark.

The initial assignment for Framfab is to redesign Philippine Airlines' corporate website with focus on enhancing usability and ensuring clear and consistent brand recognition, and implement a content management system supporting three language versions. The expected relaunch of the website is scheduled for late spring.

"The relaunch of our website is the first step towards integration of e- Business throughout the organisation. We are confident that we have found the right partner in Framfab, and expect to benefit from their vast experience gained from working with many large international clients", concludes Senior Assistant Vice President Roberto Diaz De Rivera, Corporate e-Business Department, Philippine Airlines.
