STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 21, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Trio has signed an order worth around SEK 16.7 million for the expansion of "ProffNett," Telenor Mobil's mobile office solution for the Norwegian corporate market. The order is based on Trio Mobile Office, a concept for mobile operators that enables their customers to make a complete or partial transition from fixed to mobile telephony.
ProffNett is one of the cornerstones of Telenor Mobil's portfolio of value-added services for its corporate customers. This order entails expanding the capacity of the network so that it can handle the increase of customers.
"This order confirms the need felt by many mobile operators' customers to use mobile telephones as their most important communication tool. Trio Mobile Office has been developed to meet this type of demand," says Sverker Hannervall, President and CEO of Trio.
Trio Mobile Office offers both direct and gradual transition from fixed to mobile telephony. Trio Mobile Office is provided by mobile operators as a service to which customers can subscribe and is installed in the operators' networks by Trio as a turnkey solution.
