LUND, Sweden, March 5, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- DORO AB of Lund, listed on the O-list of the Stockholm Stock Exchange, has signed an agreement with a major European actor to transfer its switchboard business from March 15, 2002.
DORO's switchboard products are sold throughout the Nordic region. The sale is in line with DORO's new strategy of refining activities to corded and cordless telephony.
"DORO is continuing to concentrate on corded and cordless telephony. We are pleased to have signed an agreement with a major actor buyer that has industry know-how and the ability to further develop the business for the benefit of customers and employees," says Gunnar Akerblom, DORO's CEO.
DORO will issue the Q1 report on April 19.
