VIENNA, Va., April 10, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Allied Research Corporation (AMEX:ALR) announces its California-based subsidiary, NS Microwave, received a series of contracts totaling over $2 Million for law enforcement security equipment from the Baltimore Police Department. Total orders at NS Microwave for the first quarter 2002 are more than double those of first quarter 2001.
The series of contracts calls for NS Microwave to provide equipment and systems for citywide security, including fixed, vehicular, and airborne capabilities. These systems will enable the police department to provide electronic surveillance from any location in the city at any one time.
