SAN JOSE, Calif., April 11, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Reality Wireless Networks, Inc. (OTCBB:RWNI) announced today that Forrest F. Fulton, Ph.D. has agreed to join the Company's Board of Advisors. Dr. Fulton is a respected member of the Radio Engineering Fraternity, the scientific peer group whose combined research has made wireless broadband the most popular and practical solution to the problem of providing broadband access to a waiting public in a reliable, yet profitable way. His 40 years of significant contributions to the field of high-frequency wireless data transmission began with his Stanford University Ph.D. dissertation on the potential of Spread Spectrum and continues today. Dr. Fulton's numerous patents suggest the extent of his contributions to this field and confirm his on-going interest in the science of problem solving.
Victor Romero, President and COO of Reality Wireless Networks, said, "We believe this company's management team is one of which to be proud. We point to the expertise and outstanding record of that team whenever we are asked what would most readily distinguish us from other companies at this stage in their evolution. Our Board of Advisors is intended to be an active board whose composition is every bit as important as the management it will advise. This is a technology-driven business and technology is always evolving, changing or being made obsolete. The role of our Board of Advisors is to suggest innovations in existing technology, pursue and improve upon our hybrid approach, and recommend emerging technologies whose use might lower costs and/or improve our quality of service. Dr. Forrest Fulton joins an already distinguished board and we are both pleased and honored to welcome him."
