BROMMA, Sweden, April 15, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Prior to the election of the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting of Dimension AB (publ) on Monday, April 22, 2002, shareholders together representing approximately 52% of the votes of all the shares in the company, in connection with the notice of the Annual General Meeting, have announced their support for the following proposal: The Board of Directors will consist of five members and two deputies.
The following four members and two deputies are recommended forreelection: Directors -- Bjorn Boldt-Christmas, Lars Idermark, Ulf Ivarsson and Leif Svensson and deputies Irene Axelsson and Bjorn Pettersson.
The same shareholders have expressed their support for the election ofAnn-Marie Nilsson as the fifth Board member.
Background on new member recommended for election
Nilsson, born 1942, has been employed since 1997 by IT-Faretagen AB (the Association of the Swedish IT and Telecom Industry), a trade organization with around 600 members, as president and working director. Nilsson has previously held positions with STATTEL, a government telecom procurement agency, and the ICT Commission, an advisory board to the Swedish government in the field of information technology. Nilsson is currently a member of the boards of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA), Siti (Swedish Research Institute for Information Technology), Targian, IT-Sweden and Norway's Visma group.
Nilsson is also a member of SIQ Advisory Board (Swedish Quality Foundation), chairman of IVA's department of information technology and the Swedish jury member for the European IT award.
