The aim of the audits is to determine the value of the core technology and thus to protect AND's shareholders value. They also give AND a good idea of the real value of its client base. This dynamic approach is now starting to have an impact.
All AND contracts are being checked one by one by B-Street, a specialist in ICT services including auditing. Up to now, this process has led to extra income because clients have made greater or more frequent use of AND data and technologies than permitted by their contract. AND has also commenced legal proceedings against a number of companies that have broken the rules set out in their contract.
The legal audits are an important component in the turn around process -- initiated by the new management of the company -- that AND is currently working through.
