What: The 2nd Annual Debian Conference (Debconf2) When: July 5-7 2002 Debconf2 dovetails with the 4th Annual Ottawa Linux Symposium (http://www.linuxsymposium.org/2002) held on June 26-29, 2002 in Ottawa Canada, making it convenient for Linux(r) enthusiasts to attend both events. Why: Debconf2 is an annual event held by Debian developers geared toward current and future Debian developers. The goal is to bring developers together to improve the Debian GNU/Linux operating system. Who: Debian is the result of a volunteer effort to create a free, high-quality Unix-compatible operating system, complete with a suite of applications.
