STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 2, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- ReadSoft has closed a deal with the largest Pharmaceutical Distribution Group in Spain, Unycop, who will use ReadSoft's software INVOICES to process incoming invoices. Unycop will start the implementation in Seville, continue with Pamplona and then roll out the project on 12 other locations. The total order value is 4,5 MSEK.
Unycop has a large distribution network in Spain, delivering pharmaceuticals to more than 15,000 pharmacies, spread out over 36 provinces. It is essential for the organization to always be on top on the latest technology in the business. Unycop possesses a high-level logistics structure and mechanized warehouses with an automatic order system. INVOICES will be integrated in the Financial Department as a complement to Unycop's SAP system. The project also includes a plan to integrate ReadSoft's Integration Option Pack for SAP which unifies the two systems. The Unycop Group processes 600,000 invoices annually.

ReadSoft's INVOICES software is designed to recognize unstructured invoice documents and capture data such as sender, invoice number and invoice amount from anywhere on the invoice. At the same time, the software checks the data against information in the SAP system.
