STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 6, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telia's partly owned subsidiary, Telia Overseas, is to sell its 26-percent stake in Bharti Mobile in India to Bharti Televentures.
Telia AB will record a capital gain of approximately SEK 600 million on this divestment. The transaction will be completed during the second half of 2002.
Telia Overseas ownership structure: Telia (65%), Ratos (9%), Skandia (13%) and Orkla (13%)
