COPENHAGEN, Denmark, June 7, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Board of Maconomy A/S has decided to carry through a change of management in the company and to make a tightening of the organization and business structure. Per Tejs Knudsen, the present CEO of Maconomy resigns and becomes consigned member of the Board. Bent Larsen, Chairman of the Board, has been appointed new CEO of the company. Maconomy maintains the expectations of a positive result before tax for 2002, excluding non-recurrent charge related to the above-mentioned measures but reduces expectations for turnover growth for 2002.
