STOCKHOLM, Sweden, July 3, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) Shared Services in the United States, has decided to implement ReadSoft's software INVOICES to process their vast amounts of invoices. The deal is initially worth USD 250,000 and is expected to grow during the year.
CSC, one of the world's leading consulting and IT services firms, helps clients in industry and government achieve strategic and operational results through the use of technology. The company's success is based on its culture of working collaboratively with clients to develop innovative technology strategies and solutions that address specific business challenges. CSC is now looking to increase efficiency themselves by using ReadSoft's software to automate their invoices flow. CSC's US Shared Service Center will use INVOICES to capture, interpret, and verify information on some 40,000 invoices each month.
Internal benchmark tests revealed that CSC's internal accounts payable costs averaged $12 per manually processed invoice. The company expects to cut down on these costs substantially and gain a return on investment within less than one year.
"The order from CSC is expected to grow in the future and the deal further strengthens our position on the American market. The implementation will be carried out together with our partner Linmar Systems and it is strategically important that we can offer complete solutions to both large and small businesses in the U.S.," commented Jan Andersson MD at ReadSoft.
Linmar Systems introduced the Onbase document management and workflow system to CSC. Together with Linmar, ReadSoft has created an integration to the SAP system that CSC uses for commercial operations.
