AdZone Research Retains Investor Relations Network to Direct Its Financial Public Relations Programs

RIVERHEAD, N.Y., Aug. 6, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- AdZone Research, Inc. (OTCBB:ADZR), a pioneering Internet surveillance technology solutions provider, today announced that it has retained the Investor Relations Network, a financial public relations partnership with headquarters in Corona, California, and additional offices in Southern California and New York City, to direct its investor relations and corporate communications programs.

Through its pioneering technology, AdZone anticipates playing a major, continuing role in the nation's evolving Homeland Security efforts. In recent months, the company has moved ahead aggressively to execute its business plan. It also has forged new strategic partnerships, such as the announcement last month of a key Systems Integrator Agreement with major defense contractor Raytheon Company (NYSE:RTN).

AdZone's President & CEO, Charles A. Cardona III, said the company wanted to begin sharing with investors at every level its future goals. "To help in that effort," said Cardona, "we have retained the Investor Relations Network to better position our company within the investment community. Its mission will be to help raise AdZone's visibility and valuation by communicating its unique value drivers to brokers, analysts and money managers worldwide."

"We are especially proud to be representing a company like AdZone with its strong focus on security and national defense," said Tom Gavin, president of the Investor Relations Network. "Our goal is to help the company reach out to investors at every level, and assist AdZone in its efforts to become a full listed security with strong and continuing buy- and sell-side support."

The Investor Relations Network, www.irnonline.com, established in 1993, provides communications advice and counsel to the senior management of publicly traded and pre-IPO firms nationwide. The firm also acts as an introductory source for capital formation.

As part of its contract with AdZone Research, the Investor Relations Network has requested that a significant part of its compensation be in the form of warrants it intends to hold for the longer term.

In addition to its marketing efforts with defense contractors such as Raytheon, AdZone also is moving forward aggressively with the introduction of its Internet surveillance technology focused on security and national defense to key policy makers at state and federal levels.
