NCC Receives Contracts Worth Total of SEK 160 Million for Operation and Maintenance of Oslo Roads


SOLNA, Sweden, Aug. 23, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- NCC Construction Norway has been commissioned by the Municipality of Oslo to assume responsibility for the operation and maintenance of all the roads in central Oslo in the next four years. The contract is worth approximately SEK 135 million (NOK 120 million).

The contract, which comprises operation and maintenance responsibility for the entire network of a total of 272 kilometers of roads, pertains to both summer and winter operations.

NCC has also received a contract worth about SEK 23 million (NOK 20 million) for the operation and maintenance of roads in western Oslo. This contract applies for one year and comprises 286 kilometers of roads.
