STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Aug. 28, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- SCA's Senior Vice President, Finance, Lennart Persson (55), has been appointed Executive Vice President of the company. Lennart Persson has been responsible for financial matters within the Group since 1997.
Peter Nyquist (37) has been formally named Senior Vice President, Communications and Investor Relations.
A new corporate staff function is being established with the task of reviewing and following up the Group's strategic investments. This staff function will also include the current operations for IT and business intelligence. Thomas Wulkan (41), formerly Vice President, Finance, at Modo Paper and currently CFO for SCA Hygiene Products, has been named Senior Vice President for these activities.
