STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sept. 27, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- The share capital in Nordea AB (publ) (Stockholm:NDA) (Other OTC:NRDDF) has been raised by EUR 17,854.22 and 45,050 shares have been issued as a result of conversion of bonds issued according to the company's convertible bond loan 1999/2042.
Following the increase, the share capital in Nordea AB (publ) amounts to EUR 1,183,054,233.68 divided into 2,985,116,227 shares.
The Swedish National Patent and Registration Office registered the increase on September 25, 2002.
On September 1, 2002, Nordea AB (publ) redeemed the outstanding loan amount of EUR 96,928,426.28 early. Subsequently, the company has no outstanding convertible bond loans.
