MIAMI, Oct. 7, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Today E-Rex, Inc. (OTCBB:EREX) announced that Dragonfly(tm), the Company's flagship product, will be field tested this November by RE/MAX International, Inc., a leading real estate network in the U.S. and Canada. RE/MAX has a global real estate franchise system of more than 75,000 sales associates in more than 4,300 offices worldwide.
"We welcome the opportunity to evaluate new technology products that can potentially make the RE/MAX agents more productive and ultimately more profitable," stated Michele Routh, senior technology analyst for RE/MAX International, Inc. "Dragonfly's unique integration of features is an intriguing entry to the mobile and wireless market, and we look forward to analyzing it."
Designed to help achieve maximum efficiency while on the road, Dragonfly is the first Windows CE.NET-powered mobile device combining wireless access to the Internet and e-mail integrated with built-in color printing, scanning, faxing and copying capabilities. Its features allow mobile workers to stay connected to mission-critical data while providing the added ability to scan in images and output photos and documents on plain paper and in full color.

In addition, nearly 82 percent of real estate firms and 43 percent of Realtors market their services using the Internet. More than ever before Realtors are using the latest technologies and the Internet to effectively market real estate.
"We are very pleased that RE/MAX International, a major organization in the real estate industry, has agreed to field test our new Mobile Office Platform," stated Carl Dilley, E-Rex president. "Demonstrating market demand for our unique solution will be a key part of our effort to secure a manufacturing and marketing partnership for Dragonfly."
