The IP QoS Content Suite rules are visualized via Nokia NetAct (TM) Service Quality Manager, allowing operators to immediately see how mobile IP services are working from the end-user perspective. The IP QoS Content Suite reports are viewed through the Nokia NetAct (TM) Reporter and include extensive reporting sets, including reports for several different user groups like Network Service Planning, Service Level Agreements, Monitoring, and troubleshooting reports.
"With the Nokia NetAct IP QoS Content Suites we are really complementing operator processes and transferring the intricate Nokia OSS knowledge of content into a product. This content then allows operators to see how their mobile IP services are working from day one without having to spend time and resources developing the content rules and reports themselves," says Jorma Häkkinen, Vice President and General Manager of Operations Support Systems, Nokia Networks. "Advanced services, such as MMS, demand that the network deliver a high quality service to the end-user. This new content suite prepares us for expanding such advanced mobile services. “
Nokia NetAct (TM) Service Quality Manager is a service assurance tool for monitoring telecom and datacom services. Nokia NetAct (TM) Reporter is a reporting tool that collects information from different parts of the network, analyses it and provides comprehensive reports to the people who need them. Both NetAct Service Quality Manager and NetAct Reporter are an integral part of Nokia NetAct – the single network and service management framework.
